Aluminum Remelting Odor Control
Project Situation
An aluminum remelting facility in Texas melts scrap aluminum in furnaces equipped with hoods and baghouse filters. Odors are generated from the baghouse discharge and aluminum by-product. Residents near the facility have complained about the offensive odors. BioWorld designed and installed an industrial fogger unit for the 50 foot stack to control odor emissions. BioWorld Odor Neutralizer was added to the fogger system.

Results
The odors were completely eliminated. On-going treatment has controlled the baghouse odors emanating from the facility. Residents near the facility have stopped filing complaints.
